The Conference Programme Committee for the 19th Annual Conference of the ESC invites you to submit an abstract for oral or poster presentation. All submitted abstracts will be reviewed by the Conference Programme Committee. All accepted abstracts will be published electronically. Please note: all presenters must be fully registered for the conference.
Abstracts submission period opens 01 February , 2019
DEADLINE EXTENDED! Submission closes: 30 April 2019 - Firm deadline, no new extension!
Early bird registration deadline: 01 June 2019
In the abstract submission system you can choose between three types of presentations:
Pre-arranged Panel Session (each panel should contain between three and four papers)
Oral Presentation (max. 15 minutes)
PRESENTING AUTHORS OF ACCEPTED ABSTRACTS MUST PRE-REGISTER AND PAY FOR THE CONFERENCE BY THE EARLY BIRD DEADLINE (01 June 2019). Only fully registered delegates can present at the conference and will have their abstracts included in the programme.
Each participant is limited to one presentation as first author (for oral or poster presentation), but may be co-author of other presentations. Note: Abstracts which are a part of a Pre-arranged Panel Session are excluded from this limitation. Please keep your abstract short (maximum 200 words).
ESC Working Groups that wish to organize a meeting during the conference should submit this as a normal thematic panel of their working group. The title should clearly label it as a working group meeting and the abstract should provide relevant information to the conference participants. Authors could be the working group chairs. This information will be included in the final program.
Roundtable sessions can be submitted as a single thematic panel with or without papers clearly identifying it as a roundtable in the title. The organizer should at least be included as the author of that panel. Participating discussants could also be included as authors for that panel.
All submissions must be in English, the official language of EUROCRIM 2019. All presentations based on accepted abstract submissions must be made in English. Please use your academic e-mail address when you enter your personal data. No hotmail, gmail or other non-academic e-mail addresses.
Each presenting author is responsible for the payment of the registration fee(s), as well as travel and accommodation costs.
Presenting authors should respect the programme's schedule (no changes will be made).
Participants should plan to attend the whole meeting. Presentations are scheduled from Wednesday until Saturday.
Presenting authors unable to attend the EUROCRIM 2019 may be substituted by a co-author. In case of impossibility, please inform as soon as possible the organizers using the email address firstname.lastname@example.org.
We notify authors on acceptance/rejection of abstracts on a rolling basis from 1 May 2019. If you DO NOT receive any e-mail notification regarding your abstract submission by 15 May 2019, please contact us via email@example.com.
Submission of an abstract constitutes the authors consent to publish it.
Abstracts will be published exactly as submitted.
Abstracts of those who are fully registered untill 01 June 2019 will be published in the conference Book of Abstracts.
Contact firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any technical problems in submitting your abstract.
